The focus on the MDS data is increasing and the quality of the data more carefully scrutinized with the MDS Focused Audit.  Unfortunately the outcome has not always been positive especially in specific areas of the MDS such as Section G.  In addition, Section G and the codes entered regarding the resident's functional status has a direct impact on multiple areas of skilled nursing management such as the RUG assignment, Quality Measures, survey, etc.  This webinar addresses the rules identified in the RAI Manual regarding how Section G is coded.  With extensive experience and many examples, Ms. Raser provides the attendee with a clear understanding of how this important section of the MDS should be completed.
