The ICD-10-CM Coding Manual, just like the RAI Manual, is updated annually.  Diagnostic codes are deleted, added and revised.  Effective October 1st of each year, it is important to have the latest codes in order to prevent billing information from being rejected because of an inaccurate code.  This is particularly important for those facilities which rely on 'cheat sheets' to assign codes, whether for the MDS, UB-04 or to order diagnostic procedures (labs, xrays, etc.)  This webinar will review those revised codes which potentially will impact skilled nursing facilities.  This session will also review and changes in the Coding Guidelines and new Coding Clinic directions.
