Deatra “Dee” Adkins is a Senior Manager in Health Care Services with Arnett Carbis Toothman LLP. She has over 20 years of longterm care experience where she first worked as a direct care registered nurse, moving into leadership roles that included Director of Nursing (DON), Quality Clinical Consultant, Administrator, Area Administrator, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Strategist. In addition to holding clinical and operational
positions in the provider community, Dee served as the Director of Clinical Services for the West Virginia Health Care Association (WVHCA) for three years. During her service in that role, she had the opportunity to work collaboratively with other state associations and the American Health Care Association (AHCA) toward establishing methods and systems to support the Provider community for multiple National Initiatives. She has served on several committees and Boards related top the health care and compliance fields.

Candy Sanchez is a Manager with Arnett Carbis Toothman LLP’s Health Care Consulting Services team. She has over twenty years of experience within the medical field spanning behavioral health, assisted living, acute care, long‐term care, and home health. Candy’s past experience as an Assisted Living and Nursing Home Administrator (NHA), Acute Care Nurse, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Quality Coordinator, and Vice President of Clinical
Operations has given her the opportunity to focus on health care quality in a senior leadership position by delivering a successful record of assessing, planning, and implementing clinical practices that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance client services. In addition to being a Registered Nurse (RN), she is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), a Certified Infection Prevention Control Officer (IPCO), and is
currently working on board certification in Gerontological Nursing with the American Nursing Credentialing Center.
