SPEAKER

Sophie A. Campbell, MSN, RN, CRRN, RAC-CT, CNDLTC

 Sophie Campbell, is the Director, Clinical Advisory Services at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, an accounting and advisory firm and brings greater than 30 years of operational and consulting experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on long-term care. Her expertise includes:

  • ·         Clinical operations;
  • ·         Documentation compliance;
  • ·         Department of Health licensure and certification survey preparation and response;
  • ·         Performance improvement and clinical compliance programs;
  • ·         MDS compliance and education;
  • ·         Responses to external audit requests and findings; and
  • ·         Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs.

 Sophie has her Master of Science in Nursing Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh and is certified as a rehabilitation nurse, registered nurse assessment coordinator and certified nursing director for long term care.  She has been published in Provider and writes articles for the PADONA and AANAC online journals and websites.

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Ohio State Nurses Association Approver Unit, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s commission on Accreditation.
