A comprehensive 3-day training that encompasses a review of the domains of practice covered in the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC’s) Gerontological Nursing certification examination: assessment; plan of care; and professional practice.  The course includes an emphasis on how that knowledge-base empowers staff in skilled nursing facilities to work smarter instead of harder and improve resident outcomes in this era of reimbursement constraints and heightened regulatory oversight.

Continuing Education Credits:

This continuing education activity has been approved for 21 Nursing Contact Hours. Gerber Consulting Services, Inc. is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Application has been submitted to the State Board of Nursing Home Administrators, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 21 NHA Clock Hours
