Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, Inc.  is seeking a full-time, salaried, Director of Nursing Services. This position is a Monday-Friday, with on-call responsibilities.

Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with good standing in the state of Pennsylvania. Must have supervisory experience in Long-Term Care

Preferred Certified Nursing Director of Long Term Care or willing to receive certification. A bachelor in Nursing is preferred.

Masonic Villages at Elizabethtown is seeking an RN Full Time Dementia Care Unit Manager to work Monday-Friday days.


The RN - Dementia Care Unit Manager is responsible for a large group of employees, to include supervisors/coordinators that may cover several functional areas. Assigns and schedules work and employees. Determines staffing needs and is responsible for employment, recommends termination of staff, conducts performance reviews, and determines salary with Human Resources assistance. Coaches and counsels employees and acts as a liaison between departments. For assigned resident care units, accountable for planning and managing services for geriatric and dementia residents and their families. To assure clinical excellence, optimal clinical outcomes and service excellence including resident and employee satisfaction.


Our Memory Care Neighborhoods offer individualized care tailored to maintain the dignity, respect and safety of each resident within a secure environment. Each neighborhood is designed so staff can target programs to meet the needs of each resident in a specific stage of dementia. Neighborhoods offer a recreational area, dining room, family room and audio/visual equipment. Beautifully designed outdoor courtyards enhance therapeutic recreation.


Knowledge/Experience Requirements:


1. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Registered Nurse). Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing and/or Master’s degree is preferred.


2. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing required.


3. Two years recent nursing experience in a long term care environment including satisfactory experience in a nursing administration role, DON or ADON preferred.


4. Current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to long term care facilities preferred. Recent experience in dementia care.


5. Positive interpersonal skills required.


6. CPR certification required prior to or upon employment.


7. Basic computer knowledge required.
